•입니다’ infinitive
verb is ‘이다'
•‘이다 to be‘ is attached
to the end of a noun to make the function of noun like a verb. We
use it to express the identity or state of a subject,
or to designate and an object.
•‘ 입니다’ is formal.
•For examples
당신의 이름은 무엇입니까? What is your name?
싸이먼입니다. I’m Simon. / My name is Simon.
스티븐입니다.
I’m Steven. /
My name is Steven.
