Korean grammar lecture 3

아요/어요/여요[Ayo/eoyo/ YeoYo]

아요/어요/여요[Ayo/EoYo/YeoYo]
When we want to describe actions or states we use it  after verbs or adjectives. We us them for  the present tense(동사/형용사)아요/어요/여요
    (verbs/adjective) Ayo/EoYo/YeoYo

The verbs ending in ‘하다 to do [Hada]’ we use conjugated form ‘여요’하[Ha]+여요[Yeoyo] you try to speak faster after that it becomes 해요[HaeYo] .  하다 to do  This verb is  ‘하다 to do ’. So we use ‘여요’ and you can think that it will change ‘해요[HaeYo]’
So remove ‘하다‘and add ‘해요[HaeYo]’
청소/하다 to clean  청소+해요 청소해요
공부/하다 to study  공부+해요. 공부해요

Tips ! The infinitive of a verb (an adjective) ends always with ‘다[da]’

The verbs or the adjective forms finish with ‘ㅏ,ㅗ’  without’다[da]’ .     We use  -아요[Ayo].    for example
가다.  to go 가/다  The verb ‘가’ is finished with the vowel ‘ㅏ’. So we use -아요[Ayo]
First it becomes ‘가+아요’ and  next you try to speak faster it comes ‘가요[Gayo]’.
오다.  to come 오/다 The verb ‘오’ is finished with the vowel ‘ㅗ’. So we use –아요[Ayo]
First it becomes ‘오+아요‘ and next you try to speak faster it comes ‘와요[Wayo]’

without ‘ㅏ,ㅗ,하다’ forms.other verbs use conjugated form ‘어요[Eoyo]’먹다 to eat[Meok Da]  먹/다
    먹+어요 = 먹어요[Meogeoyo]
입다 to wear[Ib Da] 입/다
입+어요 = 입어요[Ibeoyo]
