Topic markers
은/는 [EUN]/[NEUN]
After the noun is attached, the noun represents the topic or topic of the sentence.
N + 은/는
The noun finish with a vowel. We use 는
The noun finish with a consonant. We use 은
사과는 맛있다.
The apple is delicious.
과 finish with a vowel ㅘ so we use 는
학생은 공부한다.
the student studies.
은 finish with a consonant ㄴ so we use 은
